Outback is a fully  LOLER compliant company, safety when lifting has been greatly emphasised along with Inspection of equipment. This forms a core part of the legislation and Outback have the expertise and testing facilities to ensure that our customers lifting equipment meets the required standards for safe use.

Outback Services Ltd are able to maintain and repair a wide range of Electric Chain Hoists. Common faults can be diagnosed over the phone and advice given where required. Where a test and inspection is needed, equipment can be dropped at our premises for  thorough examination and testing prior to certification being produced.

All work is undertaken by Qualified Engineers.

Whilst the equipment is under repair, replacements can be hired from our stock enabling the Customer to minimise down time. 

We can certify almost any lifting equipment, from a manual chain block, lever hoist, hand winch to any electric chain hoist.

In most circumstances, and when spares are fully available, we are able to return equipment within one week.

To keep your ECH in perfect working order and to maintain the overall life, we offer a reminder service, in which we call you before your equipment runs out of test to arrange re test and inspection , ensuring your lifting gear is always in service and safe to use.


All our slings are manufactured in the UK , to the relevant British and European Standards. They all come supplied with the correct certification and you can rest assured that you are dealing with a product that is right for your specific needs.

That is why we supply slings with options such as TAPERED FERRULES, COLOURED THIMBLES, PVC COATING, VARIOUS SIZE OF TRUSS STEELS and just about anything else you can imagine you will need for rigging the perfect show.
