The company and its staff are to satisfy quality clients with rigging services and equipment maintained to the highest possible health and safety standards

Staff

In an industry which places great store in matters of health and safety it is remarkable that there has been, up to now, no recognised formal qualification for Rigging. In conjunction with Plasa and other industry rigging specialists, the company has been instrumental in the development and launch of the new Plasa Rigging Certificate.

It is expected that this new measure of rigging competence will be fully rolled out in to the market by the end of 2009. Outback staff were amongst the first to be presented with this award at the Plasa show in 2007.

Training is, and always has been, a vital component in service delivery for our company. Therefore, to supplement working practice documents we have developed internally run and off site training schemes for both full time and sub-contracted staff to enable achievement of the Plasa Award. We expect all staff and subcontractors to meet the Plasa standard by December 2011.

The company has a formal induction programme for all members of staff.
All staff are made aware of the company’s objectives and methods of work.
